Please review our cancellation, no-show, and refund policies to ensure a smooth booking experience at Bright Facial Spa & Thai Massage.

24-Hour Advance Notice Requirement

We require at least 24 hours advance notice for all appointment cancellations and rescheduling requests. This policy allows us to accommodate other clients who may be waiting for an appointment and ensures optimal scheduling efficiency.

Cancellation Fees

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to the following fees:

50% of scheduled service cost

Less than 24 hours notice

24+ Hours Notice

No cancellation fee

Full refund or free rescheduling

These fees help compensate for the lost opportunity to serve other clients and support our therapists' scheduled work time.

No-Show Policy

Full Charge for No-Shows

Failure to appear for your scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled service cost.

What Constitutes a No-Show

  • • Arriving more than 15 minutes late for your appointment
  • • Not appearing for your scheduled appointment
  • • Not providing any advance cancellation notice

Late Arrival Policy

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but your service time may be shortened to avoid disrupting subsequent appointments. Full service charges will still apply even if the treatment time is reduced.

Standard Refunds

Refunds are processed according to the following timeline and conditions:

24+ Hours Cancellation

Full refund within 5-7 business days to original payment method

Same-Day Cancellation

50% refund after cancellation fee is deducted

No-Show

No refund available

Prepaid Services and Deposits

All prepaid services and deposits are subject to the same cancellation policies outlined above. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Emergency and Illness Exceptions

Medical Emergency Policy

We understand that genuine medical emergencies and sudden illness can occur. In such cases, we may waive cancellation fees with proper documentation:

Acceptable Documentation

  • • Doctor's note or medical certificate
  • • Hospital admission records
  • • Emergency room visit documentation
  • • Urgent care visit records

Contagious Illness Policy

For the health and safety of our staff and other clients, we request that you reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms of contagious illness, including but not limited to fever, cold, flu, or other infectious conditions. No cancellation fee will apply in these circumstances.

Family Emergency Consideration

We may consider waiving fees for documented family emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our management team to discuss your specific situation.

Group Booking and Event Cancellations

Group Bookings (3+ People)

Group bookings require 48 hours advance notice for cancellations or significant changes to avoid fees:

  • • 48+ hours notice: No cancellation fee
  • • 24-48 hours notice: 25% cancellation fee per person
  • • Less than 24 hours: 50% cancellation fee per person
  • • No-show: 100% charge per person

Partial Group Cancellations

If some members of your group need to cancel, the same time requirements apply to individual cancellations within the group booking. Remaining group members can still receive their services as scheduled.

Special Events and Parties

Spa parties, bridal packages, and special events may have different cancellation terms as outlined in your event contract. Please refer to your signed agreement for specific terms.

Package and Gift Card Policies

Service Packages

Individual appointments within purchased packages are subject to the same cancellation policies. Package refunds are calculated based on services used and remaining value, minus applicable cancellation fees.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are subject to standard cancellation policies when used for appointments. The certificate holder may reschedule without penalty with 24+ hours notice. Gift certificates themselves are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person.

Gift Certificate Expiration

All gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Extensions may be available in special circumstances.

Inclement Weather and Natural Disaster Policy

Severe Weather Conditions

During severe weather warnings, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond your control that make travel unsafe, we will waive all cancellation fees and offer full rescheduling flexibility.

Spa Closure Policy

If we must close due to severe weather, power outages, or other emergencies, all appointments will be rescheduled without penalty. We will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a new appointment time.

Communication During Emergencies

We will use multiple channels to communicate spa closures or policy modifications during emergency situations:

  • • Direct phone calls to scheduled clients
  • • Email notifications
  • • Updates on our website and social media
  • • Voicemail message updates on our main phone line

Payment Processing and Disputes

Cancellation Fee Processing

Cancellation fees will be charged to the payment method used for the original booking. If you used a gift certificate, the fee will be deducted from the certificate value or charged separately if the certificate has insufficient remaining balance.

Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days for credit cards and 3-5 business days for cash payments. Bank processing times may add additional days to credit card refunds.

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about cancellation fees or refund processing, please speak with our management team. We are committed to fair resolution of all client concerns and will review each situation individually.

Policy Updates and Modifications

Bright Facial Spa & Thai Massage reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Policy changes will be posted on our website and will take effect 30 days after posting. Clients with existing bookings at the time of policy changes will be subject to the terms in effect when their appointment was originally booked.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify existing clients of significant policy changes via email or phone call for appointments scheduled beyond the 30-day notification period.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
